Future Album Save Me Takes A Direction In Night Life Pop Culture

Future new project “Save Me” has less hard hitting baselines that bounces for modern day dance music. The new direction he took on Save Me has more reverb and laid back production. The melodic rapper usually does dark music that does not bring attention to himself as an emcee. Usually the rapper falls into the beat, being the production itself. The artist here still keeps songs that are derogatory in subject. This is usually Futures best selling points.

Future best song on the album has to be Extra. Extra has all the makings of a good dance floor ballad. The lights has to be dancing red as the motion in the room becomes slowed. He is intoxicated in the production as he sings about his lifestyle. The lifestyle he lives is extra, everything he does is bigger than life. A lot of the engineering done on this cut stands out, as it all balances together for the frequencies and the different voices used. Making this a standout cut on the album.

Overall the album goes into Future delving into a cool ass lifestyle. His music is usually used to describe the context of drug culture. Future music is great for wanting to enjoy all the sin the world as to offer. This type of music is usually good after party music. The songs on his album are very good music used for chilling on a late night drive.

Underground Artist Yung Simmie Releases Internet Crazed Single “Easy”

Yung Simmie has always been known for intoxicated triplet raps that derives from Three Six Mafia influence. Yung Simmie to me is an off spring of trill rap. He embraces the meaning of being the coolest rapper out of his county. Not really focusing on what is happening in the now but what he is going to drop next. Yung Simmie keeps his overall confident demeanor that makes every person feels like they are about to goon out. While sitting in a Chevrolet, clutching their baby FN ready to load out the thirty shots; being high as f***.

Yung Simmie production has really laid back sounds in it. The instruments has to be soaked in light reverb. He chooses his sounds carefully as to keep it underneath his influence. Yung Simmie has branded his artistry with his own unique sound. Still it keeps a trap feel with chord progressions that mirrors ambient sounds that has not been seen in this time era. As much trap music utilizes; organs, pianos and FL Studio synthesizers.  Yung Simmie drops stone cold lines that are straight forward. He claims on the opening of the track that he has taken a lost now it is time to bounce back. He wants all the smoke with his gangsta-rap persona that breeds a Floridian hood-superstar.

“I Aint With The He Say She Say….Tell Them Keep Up Its A Relay…Do The Benz Dirty On The E-Way…I Can Sell A Bitch On Ebay…”~Yung Simmie

Tee Grizzley Gives Self-Reflection Of Detroit Tales On Still My Moment

On November Ninth, Tee Grizzley stormed the internet with his latest project. The cuts on this album deals with the rapper going deeper into his story. Being a person that is from rags to riches. He showcased this on his first big break-out single, First Day out. Recording this down the street from Persian high school, located on seven mile. Tee was showing coming from prison to driving the latest cars and flooded Cartier glasses. Tee has always been a rapper that stands on his self-confidence, embracing a larger than life character. Tee Grizzley is a miracle coming out the gates of Detroit, considering most will not make it out alive on the grit dealing with a dangerous come-up. Tee Grizzly gives us more on this mix tape, after coming off of three club hit records.

Tee Grizzley is not pretending in his music, my favorite cuts off the album were; Pray For The Drip, Babies To Men, and Keep The Rest. Keep The Rest is Tee Grizzley going off, telling his fans he wants to bring the rap game to it knees. Over a trap beat that hits with a lot of bounce in between rhythms, leaving a different sound from most Detroit rappers. His production almost sound like an alteration of Metro Booming but catered for a Detroit artist. Tee also tells his fans he believes in the constitution and the right to bare fire arms.  This is a perfect climate to drop lines like this. Why ? Because of the recent elections for our Governor that is taking place. Tee explains to us that he still has haters, most of them where people that he used to be in his past life or want to be in his current life. Most of all, Tee Grizzley does not crack, he strengthens his elements of who he is and dominates.

Babies To Men is very introspective of a person coming out of his community in Detroit. He explains going to school having to get into fights. Him and his friends getting expelled then entering into the darker side of life. His OG’s taught him how to be the men he is in a city we’re the hearts is cold like the winter. Since a rug-rat he always was troubled, stealing bikes and pulling woman in the hallway’s. As he grew as a man he realized the system and the world is against him. Wearing his uncle clothes and always wanting more, he is a person that kills for his gang and hustles. He details his story and how people around him died or incarcerated. This cut was produced by producer Helluva, being a producer from Detroit, he has done many famous cuts for people like Stretch Money and Doughboyz Cashout.

Pray For The Drip may be another single that is going to take off for the rapper, Tee Grizzley. Tee still embraces a more street-poetic mindset, being uplifting from the struggle. He looked in the sky during the times of downfall, praying for the drip. Having an influence from Southern sounds, he called for the help of Offset. Offset does his usual thing, snapping so hard with his signature flow pattern and ad-libs. Bringing more into the rappers arsenal in his records. Giving his Detroit fans another style and appeal while keeping his realer than life attitude.

This project has many features and much experimentation from the Detroit artist. He is a person that stays true to his cities sound. I believe the rapper is branching off into another sound, expanding his empire. Detroit is seeing much success in the scene, and Tee still holds the forefront of this movement with his latest project. Tee still shows us that he is down to earth while growing even larger. Tee shows every person that is going through economic hard-ship that if you struggled, you can overcome and be the next successful leader.

Oluto Reveals It All In His Latest Video W/ ANapalmProduction

Napalm Spot went out and got some unique footage of Oluto performing his single, Truly Feel. The song is a mix of neo-soul with new school funk. He delivers soft RNB vocals over the instrumental, showing to his deep love interest to be yourself. The sentiment of this song is to be the realest you possible. What is in the darkness will come to light, the old school saying our grandparents use to say. Oluto breaks into a monologue discussing how he can appeal to the masses while keeping it honest. A hard thing that most people can not express in human interaction, check the music video out below.

WXYZ LOUNGE POST MOVES TRAIL BLAZES BY NUNTHELESS

Walking into the lounge I was with my homies. We had met up with some of the set performers. I sat and chat with the people around the venue. My homie interrupted my conversation with a full glass of beer, telling us about how well treated the artist here are. I walked around scoping the place as Black Moon Child played her set. The place was very elegant, showing an up-scale lifestyle. Nothing of the average is seen here. People that we’re bosses and artist that has a style of experimentation. I had to go and get me a drink myself. Before getting myself a drink, I had caught a quick conversation with Nuntheless.

His mission is to bring out anybody that has not played a live set that embraces a totally unique style. He said the scene here in Detroit can kind of get cliquish, isolating artist from not having their time to shine. He started out being a producer then evolving into a DJ. It all started when Omar was out of town, that is when his ideas started brewing like the cold refreshing beer in this lounge. He exclaimed networking is a big element to have in Detroit and he utilize that for an advantage. Having a venue with all the talent he knew, infused within the elegant style that Detroit embraces. Nuntheless is a; producer, DJ, drummer, and even a pianist.  You can check out some of the highlights below.

Bubblerap Smokes The World Out With Her Neo-Soul Intoxication

Bubblerap is an artist that hails from London. She garnered an audience in music after releasing songs that gave the internet a frenzy. Her sound is a mix of lo-fi with the skeletal body of Erykah Badu and Curtis Mayfield. I would put her music in a realm where Aquemini and Common’s Like Water For Chocolate had a baby then birthed her creations. Sprinkled in lo-fi mixes that would make a smoked out college dorm seem like heaven between two lovers. Bubblerap music is for the backdrop of a person that does not want to deal with useless rumination between partners. They simply want to enjoy a natural gift the universe has brought them together to enjoy: relaxing in a bed of Daffodils watching clouds pass them by.

The song that caught my attention of this artist was the song, “Other Side Of The Game”. The song remixes Erykahs Badu song, “Other Side Of The Game”. There are still noteable differences that separates her from contemporaries. With her Reverb soaked vocals that creates a vibe giving you imagery of water drops. Making a romantic condensation forming on your window seal. Her producer Eun makes sure to bring the elements of her vibe full circle. The slowed down production enunciating the keys played in the original sample, did this track justice. You can check the song out below and follow her on Instagram at demaemae.
