Tee Grizzley Gives Self-Reflection Of Detroit Tales On Still My Moment

On November Ninth, Tee Grizzley stormed the internet with his latest project. The cuts on this album deals with the rapper going deeper into his story. Being a person that is from rags to riches. He showcased this on his first big break-out single, First Day out. Recording this down the street from Persian high school, located on seven mile. Tee was showing coming from prison to driving the latest cars and flooded Cartier glasses. Tee has always been a rapper that stands on his self-confidence, embracing a larger than life character. Tee Grizzley is a miracle coming out the gates of Detroit, considering most will not make it out alive on the grit dealing with a dangerous come-up. Tee Grizzly gives us more on this mix tape, after coming off of three club hit records.

Tee Grizzley is not pretending in his music, my favorite cuts off the album were; Pray For The Drip, Babies To Men, and Keep The Rest. Keep The Rest is Tee Grizzley going off, telling his fans he wants to bring the rap game to it knees. Over a trap beat that hits with a lot of bounce in between rhythms, leaving a different sound from most Detroit rappers. His production almost sound like an alteration of Metro Booming but catered for a Detroit artist. Tee also tells his fans he believes in the constitution and the right to bare fire arms.  This is a perfect climate to drop lines like this. Why ? Because of the recent elections for our Governor that is taking place. Tee explains to us that he still has haters, most of them where people that he used to be in his past life or want to be in his current life. Most of all, Tee Grizzley does not crack, he strengthens his elements of who he is and dominates.

Babies To Men is very introspective of a person coming out of his community in Detroit. He explains going to school having to get into fights. Him and his friends getting expelled then entering into the darker side of life. His OG’s taught him how to be the men he is in a city we’re the hearts is cold like the winter. Since a rug-rat he always was troubled, stealing bikes and pulling woman in the hallway’s. As he grew as a man he realized the system and the world is against him. Wearing his uncle clothes and always wanting more, he is a person that kills for his gang and hustles. He details his story and how people around him died or incarcerated. This cut was produced by producer Helluva, being a producer from Detroit, he has done many famous cuts for people like Stretch Money and Doughboyz Cashout.

Pray For The Drip may be another single that is going to take off for the rapper, Tee Grizzley. Tee still embraces a more street-poetic mindset, being uplifting from the struggle. He looked in the sky during the times of downfall, praying for the drip. Having an influence from Southern sounds, he called for the help of Offset. Offset does his usual thing, snapping so hard with his signature flow pattern and ad-libs. Bringing more into the rappers arsenal in his records. Giving his Detroit fans another style and appeal while keeping his realer than life attitude.

This project has many features and much experimentation from the Detroit artist. He is a person that stays true to his cities sound. I believe the rapper is branching off into another sound, expanding his empire. Detroit is seeing much success in the scene, and Tee still holds the forefront of this movement with his latest project. Tee still shows us that he is down to earth while growing even larger. Tee shows every person that is going through economic hard-ship that if you struggled, you can overcome and be the next successful leader.

Osiris Is The Spirit Of Yugi Mutou

Slifer The Sky Dragon was a ferocious deity sealed away inside a stone tablet. Atem had this as his stead then to be inherited by Yugi Mutou on the search to gain back the pharaohs memories. This card having been introduced In the battle city arch, was seen as Yugi’s first god card. The original adaptation of Slifer The Sky Dragon was meant to be Osiris The Sky Dragon. Which is a pharaoh that was overseer of the Afterlife and underworld.

Osiris lead his people from great famine, creating fertility among the crops. People during this time believed in ritualistic children sacrifices. Heartache and confusion with people spirituality took a great toll on the land. Making it hard for their country men to  prosper. The god Osiris risen, showing people how to take advantage of their soil. He single handily reverse curses of past rituals, stopping child killings. At the end of it all Osiris met an end. Only to be killed by Set. Jealousy took control of the heart, leading Osiris to an unfortunate end.

Slifer The Sky dragon is an adaptation of Osiris. The qualities that make up the character Osiris is an unique one. He only wanted to protect his people and is described as a protagonist in his story. Yugi Mutou has the same qualities that would make up a pharaoh looking after his people. Offering protection and guidance during the perils of battle. Only to turn out victor at the end of it all. Also the person that killed Osiris has a name familiar to Yugi’s main rival, Seto Kaiba. Both of them fight it out, only to fulfill their inner most desire, Being The King of Duels. Kaiba animosity toward Yu-Gi had no ends. As Kaiba would go through great length just to receive great power, only for Yu-Gi to be able to beat him in the end.

Migrant Caravan And My Thoughts On Government Corruption

Right now, there are at-least fifteen-hundred refugees marching to U.S soil. Migrating from their homeland Honduras because of the crime rate. Economic hard-ship has taken a toll on it’s people their. Gang activity has risen off the charts, surpassing that of Americas most violent cities. As the people march trying to find a better life. America wants to keep them in detainment. The National Guard has control on the situation at hand, guarding the U.S Border. Donald Trump has stated some criminals are apart of the caravan to America.

People has had accounts of being in Honduras. A Local Student gave her perspective on what is taking place in her home country. She said it is a very dangerous place. So dangerous that when they tried to take her brothers car, her brother received a wound, getting shot in the back. A couple more statements I read is that the people work from sunrise to sundown. Only to bring home five dollars. With that five dollars they have to be able to support their families. Situations like these create issues of human-trafficking and the selling of their kids. Local politicians have no worries, their aim is to get rich. America has tribute at-least millions of dollars to their economic structure. Only for the hands of greedy people to take it for their own benefit and gain.

Economic elites have a closed networking group among the politicians in Honduras. President Juan Orlando Hernandez, is helping strengthening the corruption in Honduras. Illegal trade is taking place right now, helping fly drugs in and out the country. This would explain the gang violence that is happening in the country. As the countries black market is a way to strengthen the peoples survival in a country that is war torn. Nobody is helping the people their, instead people are being taken advantage of. It makes me wonder who is the corporations and criminal ties that is pushing this agenda. It all comes down to the almighty dollar.

From my point of view, this has always been a context in a society we’re man wants to rule over a body of people. Only to end up for exploitation of their country to happen. As these people march the borders. They have trauma, feeling as if the world they we’re born into is cursed. No-love for their people, only to create immigrants that are like Tony Montana out the movie Scarface. Some people are flying to U.S soils from this country to birth their children. But, only the rich are taking advantage of this situation. While the poor are dealing with government corruption and the rise of gang activity. The people in Honduras should take a stand together instead of kill off one another. As this situation mirrors economic hard-ship in America with minority groups. How long are we going to let corrupt political power and businesses take advantage of us as a people ?

My Interpretation Of How Anime Become Apart of Hip-Hop Culture

Afro Samurai is the cartoon that I recall being the first Anime that had rap culture in it. Afro Samurai embraced rap music, staring Samuel L Jackson as one of the main characters. Having a black samurai raise his blade against other opponent just to fight the character Justice. An antagonist who killed his father so he can obtain the number one headband. Rza had production credit for this Anime as well.

Hip-hop culture also appeared in Manga’s like Naruto and Samurai Champaloo. Naurto had Killer Bee, a Jinchuriki that raps any chance he gets. Samurai Champaloo having Dj scratches as apart of their show stylistics.  Anime started to hold cultural structure in our genre of music. The two cultures started dancing with hip-hop for sometime, creating a new breed of rap artistry.

People that we’re infatuated with hip-hop culture and Anime started making AMVS. A short collage of fight scenes with a hip-hop music bed. The most popular AMV currently is Naruto Vs Sasuke final fight, Suicide Boys plays as the two collide. AMVS are used for cool promotional visuals for songs. The anime world has a lot of story-lines revolving around; drama, romance, family ties and vengeance. Why not have a genre that has the street struggle and glory: embrace these type of story lines.

I can name a bunch of rappers that used Anime as apart of there music and image. One of the most popular I can remember is Lupe Fiasco. By nature being a skateboarder, he became etched into the fabrics of nerd core hip-hop. Lupe has always been known as a fan of street-fighter. Rapper Rob Bank$ heavily embraces Anime and rap culture. His lyricism centers around Anime references. Comparing himself to cracking seals like the Akatsuki, the way one would crack seals on promethazine.

Growing up in a predominate black school getting reduced lunch as a young kid. We all use to trade Yu-Gi-Oh cards and talk about Dragon Ball Z. I remember fights use to break out over Yu-Gi-Oh and we played that game like we was playing at the gambling house. I had homies that use to hustle out Yu-Gi-Oh cards during morning time. It got real over that game, we all use to meet up just to play during breakfast and lunch. I remember when our cards had got confiscated, we use to creep in the teachers room when she was not there. Just to steal all are sh*t back that got taken away from us. I always thought the confiscation rule was a load of bullSh*t. In my opinion it was another form of stealing. Fast forward down the line, we all grew into our now early twenties and are still going hard for Anime world.

Thinking Like A Boss Is Thinking With Direction

People put on their pants everyday like everyone else when they wake up. The difference in power structure and control is knowing what your day is about to be set doing. Is it going to be different from how your bosses day is set up. Schedule and routine play a crucial factor in how we do our day. Choosing what position you want to be in life will help mold your day for years to come. I believe everyone should start out with a plan before the sun rises. Planning accordingly will help clear-up much clutter that is in your mind. You have goals you want to set then do so. Imagine living in a life we’re your potential has been dwindled away because you did not utilize your time to the fullest advantage.

Choices play a factor in how we conduct our day. We have to make choices to influence a positive impact on our day. Sometimes choices can come down to people, places and things we put our time into. Everyday I wake up, I always question is what I’m doing now going to fulfill ultimately what I set out to do five years down the line. I do not want to be stuck like I am chained to a cinder block at the toils of unhappiness. Even with our significant others we have to make the wisest of choices. Does the other you further the way you dream. Making you go into another aspect in your thinking to accomplish all what you set to do ?

As Will Smith stated, “There is a redemptive power that making a choice has, rather than feeling like your an effect to all things happening.”. This is true coming from a Grammy nominated actor. Instead of feeling like an cause to all things, we need to be the cause for things you specifically want to come. Do not attract the storm into your circle by letting useless energies rip away at you. One of the laws that exist in the book, 7 Habits Of Highly Effective People, that will always hold true is: be proactive. Being proactive on the right choice will reward you on the stepping stones you lay on the foundations you walk. Bill Gates did not become Bill Gates overnight. He simply had an idea, with this idea, he took it and sold the dream to investors that we’re willing to invest in his company.

Have you ever had something in life you wanted to do but never set out to do. Make the choice on it and push your agenda. Make the power of choice and become a boss. Even if you seem a little bit demanding. You are demanding for the happiness in your life to come into fruition.
