Walking into the lounge I was with my homies. We had met up with some of the set performers. I sat and chat with the people around the venue. My homie interrupted my conversation with a full glass of beer, telling us about how well treated the artist here are. I walked around scoping the place as Black Moon Child played her set. The place was very elegant, showing an up-scale lifestyle. Nothing of the average is seen here. People that we’re bosses and artist that has a style of experimentation. I had to go and get me a drink myself. Before getting myself a drink, I had caught a quick conversation with Nuntheless.
His mission is to bring out anybody that has not played a live set that embraces a totally unique style. He said the scene here in Detroit can kind of get cliquish, isolating artist from not having their time to shine. He started out being a producer then evolving into a DJ. It all started when Omar was out of town, that is when his ideas started brewing like the cold refreshing beer in this lounge. He exclaimed networking is a big element to have in Detroit and he utilize that for an advantage. Having a venue with all the talent he knew, infused within the elegant style that Detroit embraces. Nuntheless is a; producer, DJ, drummer, and even a pianist. You can check out some of the highlights below.
