Greed and Embezzlement is why community donations is frowned at with a blurred line in our Judicial System

A woman in Michigan has been convicted of stealing from a non-profit organization. A food pantry, the horror that is incited here. This woman is a multiple offender in embezzling funds from Michigan Municipal League. The Michigan Municipal League main focus is bringing innovation and resources to those that are in search of a better life. Lori Smith claims she earned her certificate to operate a fork lift while in penitentiary. Having being charged in 2011 for stealing money from Anderson Economic Group. We repeatedly let her be have chance after chance, while others like mayor Kwame Kilpatrick see no ends to their frustration.  With my altruistic view point of the situation, the lady might of needed an intervention group to help fight her problem.

When I think on me. I have to get a thorough back-ground check just to self-employ myself. If some variances come back it eliminates me from opportunity. When the purpose is for me to avoid facing hard jail times in a system were there is no turning back. This woman continues to rob the homeless and unfortunate blind for her own selfish greed. A person like this has a metal claw ready to snatch the crumbs you yet began to chew on. While the system idly sits by just to let her do it again. Kwame is faced with embezzling tax money from the city. Yes, it is a federal crime. But wouldn’t stealing from the poor just to feed my glorious greed be mirrored the same ? In Kilpatricks case; he lost his family, house, job and college degrees. We continue to punish this man for his act with no point of coming back in society as a functional American citizen. When the court can turn around and forgive a woman of doing something in the same vein. She basically lied to a system that is set in place to help boost value of life we donated with our hard earned money or tax dollars.
